One of the most casually sophisticated venues in the CBD. As the name suggests, red figures prominently in the decor Salon Rouge offers inexpensive gourmet snacks through the night and as well as a range of meals. Cocktails and shooters are the drink specialties.

The Peel Dance Bar
One of Melbourne's best known gay-friendly establishments, the Peel doesn't really hit its stride until the early hours. A horseshoe-shaped bar sits in the centre of this renovated pub, but the real focus of the Peel is the dance floor with its podiums, multitude of lights and smoke machine haze.
Happy hours go through the night on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
