Kayaking

Enjoy paddling your own kayak through the surf and catch some waves in this four hour adventure. Get up close and personal with the friendly dolphin population and marvel at the size of the humpback whales on their annual migration.

All safety gear is included and snacks are provided.

Why not try one of the new kayaking tours on the Brunswick River or the Doon Doon River near Mt. Warning. The rivers flow through Reserves and National Parks, and you will visit areas only accessible by watercraft.

Kayaking is easy, fun and a great form of exercise. The tours, led by a qualified guides and lasting around four hours, provide you with a unique nature experience along calm and sheltered waters. You will see abundant birdlife including birds of prey, waders and kingfishers amongst the changing vegetation.

Kayak River Tours use quality stable tandem kayaks and supply all safety equipment and light refreshments.

Encounter the local dolphins, explore the ship wrecks and paddle past reefs teeming with marine life on your three hour kayak adventure. Dolphin kayaking will take you to Wategoes Beach, under the watchful eye of the lighthouse where the local dolphins hang out.

Help the staff at Dolphin Kayaking as they catalogue the types and number of dolphins in the bay. Then take an exhilarating ride through the surf breaks back to the white sandy beaches.

The tours generally take about four hours and take you through changing vegetation where you will see a myriad of native birdlife. All equipment is supplied including stable tandem kayaks and life jackets, and refreshments are provided.
