Diving and Snorkelling

Fast becoming one of the most popular diving and snorkeling destinations in Australia, Julian Rocks is the jewel of the Cape Byron Marine Park. Swim with tropical species found on the Great Barrier Reef as well as animals from Australia’s deep Southern Ocean.

The park is a mere five minute boat ride from Byron Bay and is home to three different species of sea turtle, rays, corals, friendly wobbegong sharks and over five hundred different species of fish.

The Byron Bay Dive Centre caters for all levels of experience so join them for a safe and rewarding diving experience.

Dive one of the top ten Australian dive spots, the Julian Rocks Marine Park, just 10 minutes from Byron's main beach. The mixture of warm currents laced with cooler waters makes the area unique with over 600 species of fish recorded. Whales, dolphins, manta rays, sharks and three species of turtle are regular visitors to the park.

Sundive is Byron Bay's only PADI dive centre, and has a variety of dives from the beginner to more experienced and also guides snorkeling tours.
